CODI stands for the Co-ordinating Organisation for the Disabled in Ipswich. We are a non-profit organisation providing transport for the frail, aged, disabled and transport disadvantaged in the Ipswich and West Moreton regions as well as anyone living in the region requiring Medical Transport. Our transport services span westwards to Walloon, south of the river as far as Springfield and as far east as Oxley (including Inala and Jindalee). At present, we are partially funded by HACC for the Ipswich and West Moreton area only.
The CODI service is open to anyone who is a resident of the Ipswich and West Moreton area. At CODI we have two types of clients. Subsidised Clients and Non Subsidised Clients.
Door to Door Non-Urgent Medical Transport so you can visit doctors, physiotherapists, dentists, hydrotherapy, chiropractors, podiatrists, optomotrist, dialysis, QRI (Queensland Radium Institute)in Ipswich and Surrounding Areas or Brisbane.
We have a scheduled service starting at Ipswich and running into Brisbane for medical appointments. Our Scheduled times are 6am 9am and 12noon with trips returning at 10.30pm, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
CODI's Activities & Recreational Programs visits different locations on the third Saturday of the month. These trips are fully catered unless specified on the itinery.
New customers should register at least 24 hours before using the service and the first booking needs to be made at least two working days before using the service.
